Mr Gadd – Weston, Hertfordshire

We heard about the quality of JDL’s work on the Weston village grapevine, so I asked Mr Logan to visit and prepare an estimate. He was very helpful and despite his youthful looks, I found him to very knowledgeable. He gave us good guidance as to alternatives to what alterations we were seeking.

The work done by JDL Construction included, knocking down an interior supporting wall and fitting the necessary steelwork. The removal and replacement of ceilings with altered lighting and repairing/restoring a very tired retaining wall in the front garden. All the work had been completed on schedule, if not quicker and slightly under budget. Mr Logan was on site at all times and his workers were cheerful and helpful. Jamie is willing to ensure that the job was done correctly and also that it met our needs. Overall an excellent job was done, we are very pleased. I have no hesitation in recommending JDL Construction to anyone requiring any building work however large or small.

Another exciting quarter for the JDL!

We are tendering for more work now than ever, and our establishment in the commercial sector is coming along nicely. The past 3 months has seen down difficult challenges for us Domestically and Commercially, but have come through with flying colours. From excavations and drainage 2.2m in the gound on a Domestic extension in Graveley. Hertfordshire, up to us securing a facilities management contract on a block of offices in a main high street in Baldock, Hertfordshire.

The future is also looking promising with tender opportunities coming from Local councils and authorities, Building surveyors and direct with companies over the south east to refurbish and maintain their buildings and offices. This is in conjunction with our Domestic works, which tend to slow down this time of year with the usual british weather and christmas quickly approaching.

We are also happy to announce that our new apprentice, Kai Brown is also enjoying his time here. His first couple of months have seen some challenging projects to say the least, but he is still with us and learning more and more every day.

Overall a great quarter for us all, with the hope that it continues into the new year.
